Los Angeles, California (2017) - I love the HVW8 Gallery in Los Angeles at Melrose and Spaulding. For every exhibition, the artwork sprawls out from the interior gallery onto the exterior of the building. I never know what I’m going to see when I walk past there, photos, graffiti, geometric symbols, or cartoons. This particular display was for an exhibition showing the collective uneasiness of life in the 21st Century, however the timing seemed appropriate because it also seemed to capture LA’s mood after the 2016 election.
