Takeda Wins His Sixth Emmy
Let’s pop the champagne! Scott Takeda just won an Emmy from the Suncoast Regional Chapter. He produced and co-wrote a documentary titled “Melissa’s Story” about of a woman living with cancer. It took the top prize in the Human Interest-News category.
“Holy cow!” exclaimed a surprised and grateful Takeda. “As a visual storyteller, I’m never focused on prizes or shiny statues. I just want to tell an honest and truthful story. However it is really nice when other professional colleagues recognize our work. Huge kudos go to the entire team who helped put this together.”
Speaking of the team, it includes executive producers Dawn Martin and Damon Schoening and creative director/co-writer Tom Nusbaum. Also part of the Emmy team are Lori Kay Allred (director), Brock Sherman (art director), Chad Zellmer (Director of Photography), Matthew Head (music composer), and Melissa Crouse (co-producer).
This is Scott’s sixth Emmy; the second in the past five years.
