New Orleans, Louisiana (2018) - New Orleans holds a special place in my heart. I first traveled there in the mid 90’s with a friend who told me that it was like going to a foreign country without leaving the States. And she was right. The food, the sounds, the people, all seemed so unique and different.

One of the clearest memories I have were the houses, with all their rainbow colors. They looked like a child took her 64-color Crayola box and picked all the brightest and beautiful crayons to draw houses. I’ve since had the honor of working in the “Big Easy” several times over the years for various feature films and network shows, and I always take my camera to capture images that I can find nowhere else. I often find myself gravitating to the residential areas because of the vibrant colors.
