Minneapolis, Minnesota (2013) - Government offices are not usually the types of places I look for interesting images. However on a recent trip to Minneapolis, I spotted the reflections off of the northern glass walls of the US Federal Courthouse on South 4th Street. Designed and built by KPF in 1997, the building’s post-modern style blends the stereotypical glass building with natural materials, playful shapes, and places it in a context the feels very human in scale. By the time I came across this image, the light was falling off quickly as dusk was approaching. I fired off three quick shots and then went on my way.
