This fall, Denver's Lapis Gallery will showcase four new images from art photographer Scott Takeda. The two month show is titled "Abstracts" and features five photographers from around Colorado.

"It's a great collection of photos," said Takeda. "I had a chance to go to an early showing, and I love how the different visions of the photographers work so well together."

"I'm especially pleased to be showing off these four photographs, all from my Still Life Series. These images are a little more challenging than my normal work, and certainly less commercial. I don't know how many of these I will sell, but artistically I'm very happy. I selected them because they each highlight a barrier to overcome, and they look amazing on the wall."

The show will run through October. The images are 10x14 gallery mattes.
